The duo’s unique cosplay stood out among a sea of anime characters, drawing curious attendees eager to learn more about the South Indian mythical beings. Yakshis, deeply rooted in South Indian culture, especially Kerala’s, sparked intrigue among visitors unfamiliar with these legendary figures.
“Cosplaying as Yakshis at Comic Con was so much fun,” said Ann, reflecting on the engaging experience. Their effort proved highly effective in promoting the books, as many curious attendees approached them to ask about the characters, eventually purchasing the books to uncover their stories.
